Briggs and Stratton Foundation Plate

The Fast Karts Foundation Plate is used to improve the rigidity of the Briggs engine block. During demanding race conditions twisting and flexing of the chassis can be transmitted to the engine, affecting the alignment of the crankshaft bearings. Any misalignment will reduce RPM and resulting speed and acceleration. The Briggs crankcase is easily strengthened by the addition of the FK590. The plate is installed between the motor and any brand of motor mount.
